Howick Mutual is committed to giving back to local communities and the organizations within them. We are very fortunate to be surrounded by numerous rural communities whose residents have been instrumental in our success through their continued support of Howick Mutual for over 150 years.

We believe in being a strong community supporter in every sense of the word. Not only do we give back by supporting many local organizations and fundraising efforts through our corporate sponsorships and donations, it is also very important to us that our people are community minded and are leaders and volunteers in their communities as well.

In keeping with this value, Howick Mutual gives each Staff Member one day each year to volunteer within their communities.

We are very proud of how dedicated our Staff is to this program of giving back! Our Directors and Staff feel very fortunate to live, work and raise their families in rural communities alongside our policyholders.

Community Support Fund - 2025

Howick Mutual Insurance continues to support thriving communities throughout our service area. We are very proud to support locally and are dedicated to helping where we can.

In 2025, through the Community Support Fund, we have supported the following organizations that provide valuable services in our communities: Fishing Frenzy Foundation, Huron East Fire Department, Grey Bruce Mentorship, Pine River Watershed Initiative Network, Break Bread Community Meals Program, It Takes a Village, Walkerton Food Bank, Salvation Army – North Huron, North Huron Community Food Share, Dorrell Young Christmas Program, Big Brother Big Sisters – North Huron South Bruce.
